Lasagne...

For my first 'real' post I'll choose the Lasagne I had for tea today. I've eaten lasagne for a while, basically since I stopped being picky with my food around 4/5 years ago. Although I used to eat non-vegetarian lasagne, obviously this has changed as I have. Normally I use a tomato based sauce, add some beans (say pinto) and things such as carrots and green beans. I make the Béchamel myself from flour, milk and butter and then use spinach lasagne sheets. Today I tried a new reciple though: instead of the typical tomato mix I used pearl barley, red and green lentils and borlotti beans to add more pulses to the mix. And it was lovely! A bit less messy than usual as the beans absorbed some of the liquids.
