Cookies!

Cookies! Well I did say I'd post a picture... These are from a recipe from the BBC cakes and bakes book, which like the rest of the series, is pretty excellent. In the book they're called 'smarties' cookies, but I've replaced the smarties with some dark fairtrade chocolate instead. I've also used honey instead of syrup because that's all I've had, which has made them sweeter than I remember, but still pretty good! I like eating them when they've cooled down a bit, but they still retain a semblance of warmth, so the chocolate melts in your mouth and you generally feel like a little kid again. A glass of cold milk, preferably with ice, is recommended! I've posted twice today, so I'll think I'll leave it here.
